DC Kulgam inaugurates free medical camp organized by CRPF at Yaripora

KULGAM, FEBRUARY 13: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Tuesday inaugurated a free medical camp organised by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 18th Battalion at Yaripora Kulgam.
The camp was organised as part of the Civic Action programme to bring healthcare to the community’s doorsteps.
Present on the occasion were B.A.K. Chaurasia, Commandant-18 Bn CRPF, Chaudhary Mahesh Kumar, 2nd In Command, other senior officers and Jawans of 18 Bn CRPF and senior Officers of District Administration Kulgam.
A large number of people attended this free medical camp and received free medicines, health check-ups, tests, and screenings.
Addressing the gathering, DC Kulgam highlighted that the civic action programme is a welfare measure for the local people thereby bridging the gap between the security forces and civilians.
It is an ongoing attempt to bring qualitative change in the lives of the local population, he added.
The DC stressed that CRPF is totally committed towards its social obligations and will continue to carry out similar civic action programmes in future, and will make all best possible efforts to improve the living standard of the local people.
