BUDGAM, AUGUST 09, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the under-construction 125-bedded New District Hospital and the 100-bedded Critical Care Unit (CCU) in Reshipora, Budgam, today. The visit focused on assessing the progress of these vital healthcare projects, which are advancing rapidly to bolster the district’s medical infrastructure.
During the site inspection, DC Dr. Bilal emphasized the need to accelerate construction efforts to ensure timely completion of the state-of-the-art facilities. He highlighted that the New District Hospital and CCU will significantly enhance Budgam’s healthcare system, providing advanced medical services and specialized care to residents. “Our commitment to upgrading healthcare infrastructure is unwavering, and these projects will set new benchmarks in patient care and emergency services,” Dr. Bilal stated, expressing optimism about the rapid pace of development.
The DC noted that the district administration, in collaboration with the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department and the Health Department, is working diligently to complete both projects ahead of schedule. Regular monitoring is being conducted to address any challenges in real-time through multi-departmental coordination, ensuring seamless progress. The completion of these facilities is expected to address critical healthcare needs in Budgam, particularly in delivering specialized and emergency medical care.Dr. Bilal was accompanied by Executive Engineers from R&B, Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), and representatives of the executing agencies during the visit.
