Among other major projects, various PHCs were dedicated to the public installation of Mobile Network towers at tourist spot Doodhpathri, a Wuzukhana complex along with two public parks at Charar-e—Sharief have been completed. Our tourist spots were not connected to the telecom network. In Doodhpathri, after many years, telecom network has been installed. The Jio network is there and you will be connected to the world, DC Akshay Labroo said. After this work, acting on the demand of Chadoora residents that they needed a new bus terminal to drive away congestion. The work of a new bus stand is going on rapidly there. I am hopeful that in this New Year we will be able to successfully dedicate a new bus stand to the people of Chadoora, the DC added. In our Charar-e-Sharief shrine, it was necessary that some elders should have a restroom and toilet complex. This work was pending for many years. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha visited the site in August 2023. Today you should see the rest rooms for elderly and an excellent toilet complex constructed there in the shrine complex. In Beerwah, there are Bhairon caves which has a tremendous potential for attracting tourists from all over the country to Budgam district in Jammu & Kashmir. There was no access infrastructure to reach the spot. Now the access infrastructure has been created and tourists from faraway places come to Bhairon caves to pay their respects. And the local people there will also get help in doing their work with the potential of tourism. The Administrative Council is headed by the Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha. Around 300 kanal land of the cluster university Srinagar has been given in BK Pora block. The administrative council has transferred the land to Budgam district for a cluster university in BK Pora. This is a huge project for the development of Budgam, said the DC Budgam, Akshay Labroo.
