Baramulla, Feburary 12,2026- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla Mingas Sherpa chaired a District Level Committee (DLC) meeting under the Pradhan Mantri Developmental Drive for Krishi Yojana (#PMDDKY) to finalize the Action Plan for the upcoming financial year.
The meeting focused on outlining key strategies to boost agricultural development and enhance support for farmers across Baramulla district. Officials discussed measures to improve crop productivity, access to modern farming techniques, and financial support schemes, aiming to strengthen the agriculture sector and farmer livelihoods.
DC Mingas Sherpa emphasized the need for effective planning and coordination among departments to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives under PMDDKY, which is part of the government’s commitment to sustainable rural and agricultural development.
