Baramulla, 30 September 2025: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Mingas Herpa, inaugurated a book donation drive at Girls Higher Secondary School (HSS), Baramulla, as part of #SewaParv2025 initiatives. The drive aims to promote literacy, education, and knowledge sharing among students.
Students and volunteers enthusiastically participated, donating a variety of books to support the spread of learning, reading habits, and educational resources. The initiative reflects the administration’s focus on community service, youth engagement, and social responsibility.
DC Baramulla emphasised the importance of nurturing a reading culture, encouraging students to explore new ideas, broaden their horizons, and pursue their dreams through education.
