Baramulla, October 15,2025: The Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, presided over a #BlockDiwas at the border village of Nambla, Uri. The outreach programme aims to address local issues and ensure the prompt delivery of public services directly at the doorstep of residents.
During the event, residents raised concerns related to health, education, infrastructure, and other civic amenities. The DC assured timely action on grievances and emphasised the importance of government outreach initiatives in bridging the gap between administration and citizens.
The #BlockDiwas initiative is part of Jammu & Kashmir’s efforts to promote citizen-centric governance, transparency, and accountability, especially in remote and border villages. It reinforces the commitment of local administration to efficient public service delivery and rural development.
