Baramulla, October 15,2025: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, inspected various departmental stalls set up to generate awareness about government welfare schemes during a public outreach event in the district.
The stalls showcased key initiatives and flagship programmes aimed at improving public welfare, livelihood generation, and social security. The DC interacted with officials and beneficiaries, encouraging departments to strengthen grassroots awareness and ensure effective implementation of all welfare schemes.
On the occasion, section letters, Golden Cards, and Job Cards were distributed among eligible beneficiaries under various government initiatives, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to citizen empowerment and inclusive development.
DC Minga Sherpa appreciated the efforts of departments in creating awareness about healthcare, employment, and social assistance schemes, ensuring benefits reach every deserving household.
