DC Bandipora visits Army Goodwill School Hajin, lauds NMBA Padyatra participation

Bandipora, June 12, 2026 – Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, visited Army Goodwill School Hajin and lauded the institution for its commendable participation in the NMBA (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) Padyatra.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the students for their disciplined performance of the National Anthem and National Song, highlighting their active involvement in spreading awareness about drug abuse prevention. She interacted with students, teachers, and school authorities and praised their efforts in promoting social responsibility among youth.

The NMBA Padyatra, organized under the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage healthy, responsible lifestyles among young people. Students of Army Goodwill School Hajin took part enthusiastically in rallies and awareness activities as part of the campaign.
