DC Baltal says small issues do crop up when 25,000 people camp together but we immediately resolve

Divisional Commissioner Baltal at the base camp assured darshan to all Amarnath yatris. We inspected the arrangements, condition of the toilets when the yatra was at its peak. As you can see, the sanitation is being maintained and the yatri feedback also says they are happy. We are even doing RFID spot registrations to facilitate yatris. Overall, everything is on track. The weather is also supportive. Light drizzling is happening which is good for trekking, said the Divisional Commissioner Baltal. When so many people join the yatra and around 25,000 people stay together in a camp and there are service providers, then small issues do crop up but we immediately resolve them, DC said. We want the yatris to come and to come in large numbers. They should tell about their experience to encourage more people to participate in the Amarnath yatra. We are ready to serve the yatris. The locals here welcome the yatris and are supportive and contributing to the economy. Through the Amarnath yatra, faith is also growing, tourism is developing and darshan is also happening, the DC said.
