Ganderbal, March 2,2026- The Central University of Kashmir, in collaboration with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), organised a State-Level Workshop on “Capacity Building of Stakeholders for Nationwide Roll-out of National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST) & National Mentoring Mission (NMM)” at its Ganderbal campus.
The workshop aimed to equip educators, school administrators, and academic stakeholders with the knowledge and skills required to implement NPST and NMM effectively. Sessions focused on professional standards for teachers, mentoring practices, curriculum alignment, and strategies for improving teaching quality across schools.
Experts from NCTE guided participants through interactive modules, case studies, and group discussions to ensure practical understanding of the programs. The initiative underscores CU Kashmir’s commitment to advancing teacher education and strengthening educational quality in the region.
