Jammu, July 30, 2025:Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Atal Dulloo, on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting of the Planning Development and Monitoring Department to review the preparations for the upcoming Union Territory-level ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh’.
The meeting, held at the Civil Secretariat, brought together senior officials and district planning officers to assess the progress of key developmental targets under the Sampoornata Abhiyan, a flagship initiative aimed at achieving saturation of government schemes across the Union Territory.
During the meeting, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo emphasised the importance of showcasing the achievements of the Abhiyan through the Samman Samaroh, which is expected to recognize and felicitate best-performing districts, departments, and frontline workers who have contributed significantly to last-mile delivery of public services.
“The Sampoornata Abhiyan has made measurable progress in ensuring 100% coverage under several critical schemes related to health, sanitation, education, financial inclusion, and welfare. This event will be a platform to acknowledge those efforts,” Dulloo said.
The Chief Secretary reviewed logistical arrangements, content curation, award categories, and data validation processes to ensure transparency and credibility. He also directed officials to maintain strict adherence to timelines and to ensure comprehensive documentation of outcomes from the Abhiyan.
The ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh’, scheduled to be held in the coming weeks, is part of the government’s larger commitment to good governance, transparency, and grassroots development in Jammu and Kashmir.
The event is expected to be attended by senior government functionaries, district commissioners, line department heads, and beneficiaries, and will highlight success stories from across the UT.
