Kashmir, January 30,2026- Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo recently reviewed the progress of various digital connectivity projects across the union territory, emphasizing the need for timely implementation to strengthen digital infrastructure and ensure seamless internet access in both urban and rural areas.
During the review, CS Dulloo assessed ongoing initiatives under the BharatNet and other government schemes, highlighting the importance of bridging the digital divide and expanding connectivity to remote regions. He called for coordinated efforts by the concerned departments to accelerate project completion, improve network quality, and promote the use of digital services for governance, education, and commerce.
Officials noted that enhanced digital connectivity would support e-governance, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, furthering the administration’s vision of a digitally empowered Jammu & Kashmir.
