SRINAGAR, May 2, 2025 – In a decisive push for citizen-centric governance, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo reviewed the progress of JK Samadhan 2.0, Jammu and Kashmir’s cutting-edge AI-powered grievance redressal platform, emphasising that prompt and high-quality resolution of public complaints is the cornerstone of trustworthy governance. With over 13 lakh citizen registrations and a 75% grievance resolution rate, the platform is transforming transparent and responsive administration in the Union Territory.
During the review meeting on May 1, 2025, Dulloo stressed the need for accountability and efficiency in addressing grievances, directing departments to ensure no complaint lingers beyond 30 days. “Quality redressal within a fixed timeline strengthens public confidence in our systems,” he said, urging officials to leverage the platform’s AI capabilities to prioritize urgent issues like essential supplies. To enhance citizen engagement, he called for intensified awareness campaigns, including SMS drives and community outreach, to ensure every household benefits from the platform.
JK Samadhan 2.0 has registered 13,08,759 users, with 9.46 lakh joining in the past two months, reflecting its growing popularity. Of the 53,342 grievances filed, 39,971 (75%) have been resolved, while 13,371 are under scrutiny to ensure satisfactory outcomes. The platform’s AI-driven system uses GIS mapping and data analytics to identify recurring issues, enabling proactive governance and faster resolution. Secretary, Public Grievances, Aijaz Asad, noted that the platform’s real-time tracking and analytical dashboards empower officials to monitor progress and address bottlenecks swiftly.
Dulloo also highlighted the platform’s potential as a one-stop solution for citizen-administration interaction, urging departments to analyze grievance trends to improve public service delivery. “JK Samadhan 2.0 is not just a tool; it’s a commitment to digital, accountable governance,” he said, emphasizing its role in fostering inclusivity and responsiveness.
