Jammu, December 16 ,2025:Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Atal Dulloo, on Wednesday reviewed the preparedness for the weeklong ‘Sushasan Saptah – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, scheduled to be observed from December 19 to 25, 2025, across the Union Territory.
Chairing a high-level meeting of senior civil administration officers, the Chief Secretary stressed the need for coordinated planning, effective public outreach, and transparent grievance redressal mechanisms to ensure the success of the campaign, which aims to strengthen citizen-centric governance at the grassroots level.
Atal Dulloo emphasized that the initiative provides an important platform to take the administration closer to people, especially in rural and remote areas. He directed departments to ensure maximum on-ground presence of officers during the campaign, enabling direct interaction with citizens and timely resolution of their grievances.
Highlighting the objectives of good governance, the Chief Secretary underlined that all departments must work in close coordination to deliver essential public services efficiently. He called for proactive awareness programmes to inform people about government schemes, welfare initiatives, and grievance redressal channels.
The Chief Secretary also stressed the importance of accountability and transparency, stating that grievances received during the campaign should be addressed within a fixed timeframe and monitored closely. He instructed district administrations to document outcomes and submit detailed reports to assess the campaign’s impact.
Senior officers briefed the meeting on district-wise preparations, planned outreach activities, and mechanisms put in place for grievance handling. The Chief Secretary expressed satisfaction over the preparations and urged officials to ensure that the campaign delivers tangible benefits to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ‘Sushasan Saptah – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign is aimed at reinforcing public trust in governance by promoting responsive administration, participatory decision-making, and improved service delivery across J&K.
