Ganderbal, July 6,2026- The Central Reserve Police Force continues to extend dedicated assistance to pilgrims undertaking the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra through its ‘May I Help You’ initiative, aimed at ensuring a safe, comfortable, and hassle-free pilgrimage.
Speaking about the initiative, CRPF woman constable Jyoti S. said the service was launched last year and has been further strengthened for this year’s yatra.
“The ‘May I Help You’ initiative was launched last year. This year, our team has around 30–40 personnel. Our only objective is to assist the pilgrims throughout their journey,” she said.
The dedicated help teams are deployed at key points along the yatra route to provide guidance, information, and immediate assistance to devotees. The initiative supports pilgrims with directions, emergency coordination, and other essential services, reflecting the security forces’ commitment to the welfare of the yatris.
Pilgrims have appreciated the helpful presence of the CRPF personnel, saying the initiative has enhanced their confidence and made the pilgrimage more convenient. The programme complements the extensive arrangements made by the Jammu and Kashmir administration and security agencies to ensure the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra continues under multi-layered security and comprehensive logistical support, with thousands of devotees visiting the holy cave shrine every day.
