SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 7: In a significant move to strengthen direct communication with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held his inaugural public interaction at the newly established Chief Minister’s Public Services and Outreach Office, named Raabita. On this occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized that the office was set up as a dedicated platform to address public grievances and foster a stronger relationship between the government and the citizens.
A total of 15 delegations, representing various social, cultural, and professional groups, met with the Chief Minister. The discussions covered a wide range of issues, including economic challenges, employment concerns, and sectoral development.
One key focus was the preservation of Jammu and Kashmir’s unique cultural heritage, with delegations calling for initiatives to safeguard the region’s rich traditions, promote local languages, and implement robust social welfare programs.
The Chief Minister listened attentively to all concerns, stressing the importance of a unified approach to protect the region’s distinct identity and ensure its sustainable development.
