The interaction also touched on opportunities for value addition in local products, aiming to boost exports and integrate J&K into global supply chains. This engagement aligns with Abdullah’s broader vision of balanced economic growth, complementing the region’s tourism boom with robust industrialisation. Officials confirmed that follow-up mechanisms, including dedicated task forces, will be established to translate discussions into actionable outcomes. The Srinagar session is part of a series of high-level industry meets, reflecting the government’s focus on making J&K a competitive hub for investment and manufacturing in northern India.
