Kulgam, February 18,2026- In a continued push to strengthen foundational education, another batch of 350 teachers participated in a comprehensive training programme under the #ClassesOfJoy initiative in Kulgam district.
The session was chaired by Athar Aamir Khan, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, who interacted with the participating teachers and underscored the importance of innovative pedagogy, student engagement, and outcome-based learning in classrooms.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that strong foundational literacy and numeracy skills are essential for shaping confident, capable, and future-ready learners. He encouraged teachers to adopt interactive and joyful teaching practices that foster curiosity, creativity, and active participation among students.
