CISF Chief Rajwinder Singh Bhatti meets J&K LG Manoj Sinha in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 5, 2025: Shri Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force , met with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, in Srinagar on Sunday, May 4, 2025. The meeting, held at the Raj Bhawan, is believed to have centred on enhancing security arrangements for vital installations across the Union Territory.

The interaction comes at a time when Jammu and Kashmir continues to address security challenges, including recent terror incidents. Sources indicate that the discussions focused on strengthening the CISF’s role in safeguarding critical infrastructure, such as airports, government facilities, and industrial establishments, in the region. The CISF, under Bhatti’s leadership, has been emphasizing advanced technologies like anti-drone solutions and cybersecurity to ensure robust protection.

Shri Bhatti, who recently paid obeisance at Sri Harmandar Sahib in Amritsar, presented a memento to Lieutenant Governor Sinha during the meeting, symbolizing the strong collaboration between the CISF and the J&K administration. The Lieutenant Governor, known for his proactive stance on security, has previously urged security forces to take decisive action against terrorist networks operating in the region.
