Chinar YUVA Job Fair empowers youth with 1,150 placements

Baramulla, April 8,2026- A major job fair held at the Chinar YUVA Centre in Baramulla witnessed an overwhelming response from young job seekers, with over 4,000 registrations and approximately 1,150 candidates successfully securing employment opportunities.

The event brought together several private sector companies, offering a wide range of job roles across different industries. The strong participation reflects a growing interest among youth in Jammu & Kashmir to explore career opportunities beyond traditional sectors.

During the event, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Dagger Division highlighted the Indian Army’s continued efforts to empower youth by creating platforms for employment, skill development, and career guidance. He emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in channeling the energy of young people towards constructive and productive avenues.
