The breach of the river’s embankment exacerbated the crisis, flooding residential areas like Pahroo, Tengan, Shalina, Kanihama, and Lasjan, and raising fears of widespread damage reminiscent of the 2014 Kashmir floods. Swift action by the Chinar Warriors, alongside the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and local administration, brought relief to the affected communities. Coordinated rescue operations were launched promptly, with teams evacuating residents from flood-hit zones to safer locations. The Chinar Warriors, known for their rapid response in crisis situations, worked tirelessly with NDRF units to deploy boats and vehicles, ensuring the safe relocation of families trapped in inundated homes.
