Charri Mubarak journey to Amarnath Cave Shrine to begin on Thursday

Srinagar: The traditional Charri Mubarak journey to the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine is set to commence on Thursday, marking a significant ritual in the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

The sacred silver mace of Lord Shiva, known as Charri Mubarak, will begin its traditional journey towards the cave shrine as part of the concluding religious ceremonies of the annual pilgrimage.

The Charri Mubarak procession holds deep religious and cultural significance for devotees and is led by Mahant Deependra Giri, who has been associated with the traditional rituals of the pilgrimage.

The journey will follow the customary route and rituals, with devotees and Sadhus participating in the sacred procession. The arrival of Charri Mubarak at the Amarnath Cave marks one of the most important moments of the annual pilgrimage.

The traditional journey is expected to draw devotees and religious followers as the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 enters its concluding phase.
