Jammu & Kashmir , July 15, 2025: In a dedicated effort to ensure the safety of pilgrims undertaking the sacred Amarnath Yatra 2025, the Border Security Force has deployed specialized Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) along the yatra routes. These highly trained teams are maintaining round-the-clock vigilance, meticulously scanning the pilgrimage corridors for any suspicious objects and neutralising potential threats.
Armed with advanced detection and defusing equipment, the BSF Bomb Disposal Team is working tirelessly to detect, defuse, and secure every critical point along the Baltal and Pahalgam routes. Their proactive presence is not only a vital security measure but also a reassurance to the thousands of devotees participating in the spiritually significant journey to the holy cave.
Officials stated that the teams are operating in coordination with local police, CRPF units, and other security forces under a multi-layered security protocol devised to prevent any untoward incident. Mock drills, routine checks, and real-time surveillance are part of their daily operations.
The BSF’s continuous efforts, especially in sensitive and high-altitude areas, have contributed significantly to maintaining a safe and peaceful environment throughout the yatra. Pilgrims have expressed gratitude for the visible security presence and the confidence it instills during the sacred trek.
