Jammu, October 15,2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced its candidates for the upcoming Nagrota and Budgam Assembly by-elections in Jammu and Kashmir, scheduled to be held on November 11, 2025.
According to the official party statement, Devyani Rana will contest from the Nagrota Assembly constituency, while Agha Syed Mohsin has been named the BJP candidate for the Budgam Assembly seat. The announcement marks the beginning of the BJP’s campaign efforts ahead of the critical by-elections in the Union Territory.
Party leaders highlighted that the selections reflect the BJP’s strategy to strengthen its presence and representation in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.
