Kashmir,October 6,2025-Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda and Directorate of Health Services (DHS) Jammu, and with the guidance of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda, a Mega Multi-Speciality Health Camp was successfully organised at Bheja, Bhaderwah. The camp aimed to provide free medical consultation, medicines, and health awareness to the local population.
The event witnessed participation from specialist doctors, medical staff, and volunteers, who attended to over 250 patients across various age groups. The camp offered services in multiple specialties, including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, and orthopedics, ensuring comprehensive healthcare access for the community.
Besides treatment, the camp also focused on spreading health awareness, educating residents about preventive healthcare measures, hygiene, and nutrition. Free medicines were distributed to patients, ensuring timely relief and support for those in need.
Officials lauded the initiative as a step towards strengthening public healthcare in Doda district, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving rural health infrastructure and making quality medical services accessible to all.
