BGSBU launches 25 new UG courses for 2025-26

Rajouri, March 20, 2025 – In a significant academic expansion, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has introduced 25 new undergraduate courses for the first time in its history. The university unveiled its Admission Prospectus for the 2025-26 academic session today, marking a milestone in its commitment to diverse and innovative education.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, alongside Registrar Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza , officially released the prospectus during a ceremony held on campus. The new UG courses span a variety of disciplines, reflecting the university’s efforts to align with contemporary educational demands and regional needs.

This development comes as part of BGSBU’s broader initiative to enhance its academic offerings and provide students with more opportunities for higher education. Located at the foothills of the Pir Panjal range in Rajouri, the university, established in 2002, has steadily grown as a hub for learning in Jammu and Kashmir.
