Bandipora, April 28, 2026- In a creative initiative to raise awareness against drug abuse, students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Bandipora designed a unique NMBA (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) wall, spreading a powerful message on the importance of making the right life choices.
The wall, adorned with impactful visuals and messages, highlights the dangers of substance abuse and its long-term consequences on individuals and society. Drawing inspiration from renowned poet Robert Frost, the students incorporated the theme of choosing the “right path,” reflecting the essence of his famous poem The Road Not Taken.
Through art and literature, the initiative encourages young minds to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy, goal-oriented lifestyle. Teachers and school authorities praised the students’ efforts, stating that such creative expressions play a vital role in awareness campaigns and community engagement.
The activity is part of ongoing efforts under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to sensitize youth about the harmful effects of drug addiction and to build a drug-free society. The students’ initiative stands as an example of how education and creativity can come together to address pressing social issues.
