Kashmir, October 18,2025: It is a day to take pride for Jammu and Kashmir as District Bandipora has been declared ‘Best Performer in India’ under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyaan , a national initiative to bring governance, innovation, and capacity development in public administration together.
India’s President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented the honorific award to Bandipora Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib for her visionary leadership and exceptional contributions to good governance, innovation, and delivery of public services.
During Indu Kanwal Chib’s tenure as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora has become a model district in terms of citizen-centric policies, digital modes of governance, and inclusive development schemes that have revolutionized local governance and enhanced last-mile delivery of services.
