Asst Prof Farooq Ahmed Mir’s Journey | From a Government Middle School To Educational Triumph in J&K I started my education from the Government Middle School says Farooq Ahmed Mir, Asst Professor in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. I did my PG from Kashmir University. He did his PhD from Aligarh University and then he applied for the post of Professor and he got through. Nobody in my entire village has studied so much. My mother supported me a lot. My father also supported me although he was not an educated man. Whatever I did I did it from the blessings of Allah and my parents. I felt the procedure of interview, etc was fair. I belong to a local family. There was no other way out except studies. I feel that there has been a real change as a result of my studies. Whatever a person wants to achieve he can do that with hard work, said Asst Prof Farooq Ahmed Mir.
