Around 10, 000 yatris were waiting for the Amarnath yatra to resume. Proper arrangements had been made for their stay. Our teams took a survey of the camps, said representatives of the Army. They were making sure pilgrims’ requirements were being met. Whether it was related to health, logistics, food, stay, all kinds of arrangements were made by the armed forces. The 2023 Shri Amarnathji yatra towards the holy cave has resumed after clearing of the weather. A batch of 250 people are being released at a time with an interval gap of 10-15 minutes, said the armed forces. Before this, ROT (Rehabilitate Operate Transfer), MRP (Military Rehabilitate Professionals), SPRF teams have been deployed so that the yatra moves smoothly. It has been decided that the yatris after darshan will move towards Baltal. On that track also, full deployment of forces has been done. And the movement of passengers is being monitored properly. The army representative said that the camp capacity is 17,000. Here around 8000 to 9000 yatris were there. We could have accommodated this many yatris more. As the yatris will move towards the cave, the accommodation here will lie vacant to accommodate the yatris coming from Sheshnag. At Poshpatri too, around 700 yatris were there; they too have been called to move towards Panjtarni. The spirits do not decrease due to rain and storms, said a female devotee. When we have come with the determination in our minds that we will do darshan, then we will definitely do it. Lord Amarnath ji is actually sitting here. He is preaching everyone to come for his darshan to make their life fruitful. The Lord blesses our life. It’s a wonderful feeling that’s hard to describe, said the pilgrims. We had a great darshan of Baba Barfani. It is his blessings on us, pilgrims said. Had a very nice visit. Stayed there with Babaji for an hour and praised him, said one pilgrim. The spiritual consciousness here is in the ranges of the Himalayas. Baba who sat here and did penance for the welfare of the whole world made his name Shiva more meaningful and thus Barfani Mahadev became known as Amarnathji. We too have come for the darshan of Baba Amarnath ji for the first time in this Himalayan range with the feeling of welfare of all the devotees and the welfare of the whole world. We have a feeling that Baba Barfani Amarnath ji will bless everyone.
