Amarnath Yatra Hugs Technology: Good Facilities, Grand Bhandaras Give Lavish Experience to Devotees

From morning 5 a.m. tea, rusk, namkeens are on offer for the yatris till 9 a.m. After nine, langar food is served till 5 p.m. In between, yatris can have snacks comprising khatta meetha gol gappas, masala dosa etc till 1 p.m, said a langar wala at Amarnath camp. This is my first visit to Shri Amarnathji yatra, said a pilgrim. The yatra arrangement is wonderful. I feel after the Modi government came into power, the arrangements have improved. The langar is so good that what is available in big weddings, everything is catered here. Roads have been improved, the Army is giving excellent service. Holding yatris’s hands and giving courage to everyone, helping each one. Earlier people used to come less, now they are coming in more and more numbers, observed the pilgrim. There is no fear of militancy, the yatris think that Baba’s shield is with all. And Prime Minister Modi has given all the support. The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, his administration has provided all the assistance and arrangements for the yatra. They have implemented new technologies, lighted the Amarnath track route, installed Jio Towers for communication networks, electricity towers and solar panels. They also set up announcement centres, and acclimatisation centres have been opened. The Shrine Board is doing a good job, the yatris said. The Army workforce is doing a good job too. The administration has been instructed that the Amarnath yatris should not face any problem by the LG. Two more helipads have been created. If a cloudburst happens or any untoward event happens then the administration can take immediate action and transport people to Srinagar. This time the bulldozer has reached the holy cave to clear away the snow. This task was earlier done by workers. Now the bulldozer is clearing the snow. This is the Modi era, said a yatri, and everything is going good. Roads have been widened. Near Barari Marg, the road was very dangerous. When yatris used to go down the track on the horse, they were afraid that they might roll down, now it’s completely levelled. Big stones have been removed from there by bulldozers.
