Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir, April 18, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, chaired a comprehensive meeting on April 17, 2025, at the DC Office Complex to evaluate the delivery of revenue services and the status of land transfer cases involving various government departments across all tehsils of the district. The session focused on enhancing transparency, efficiency, and public access to critical administrative services.
Labroo emphasized the urgent need for 100% digitization of Jamabandis (land records) to streamline land records management and boost transparency. He directed revenue officials to prioritize clearing pending cases under various categories and ensure prompt service delivery at all revenue offices. The meeting included a detailed tehsil-wise review of services such as issuance of fards, caste certificates, RBA certificates, demarcation applications, and EWS certificates, ensuring compliance with Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) timelines.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mehraj ud din Shah, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Budgam, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and other revenue officials attended the meeting.
