The enthusiasm among Kashmiris on this Independence Day in 2023 has been a picture to cherish. In this journey, not only the administration and its forces but also the people of Jammu and Kashmir actively participated in it, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. Last year too, residents of Kashmir gathered in large numbers to participate in the Tiranga Rally. This enthusiasm was an impetus of the Amrit Kaal Mahotsav which was started by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 12, 2022 and got culminated on August 15, 2023. I think definitely respect for the Tricolour is respect for India, LG stated. And respect shown to our freedom fighters and martyrs. And with this move of people participation there will be progress of the country and progress of Jammu and Kashmir, said the Lt Governor of J&K. I am also grateful to the media colleagues who helped us in creating a good environment throughout Jammu and Kashmir, LG said thanking their role in showing positivity. I think one thing has settled in the minds of the people that everyone has to protect the honour of the Tricolour of India, LG said. Every person has to contribute to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the country. I think this is the biggest change in Jammu & Kashmir. Today when we are starting the journey of new India, the Tricolour is once again representing the consciousness of India, said PM Narendra Modi. Listen to the lines of poetry by LG Manoj Sinha that can bring enthusiasm in anyone.
