LG Visits Baltal Base Camp to See How Sustainable Langar is Tech Managed to Keep it Pollution-Free

Chants of Har Har Mahadev rented the air as people saw the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha enter the Baltal Base Camp. Even before the start of the 2023 Shri Amarnathji Yatra, LG Shri Manoj Sinha has been coming to the base camps to see the preparation work, said an official. He always makes an effort to provide the yatris maximum comfort and facilities. Along with that he keeps coming to the base camps to see all the work being done for the environment like waste management and to take stock of the use of solar and other technologies and to give guidance, the official shared. This time he visited with the same intentions and specially to see how the sustainable langar is managed and to keep them pollution-free in future. He came to inspect the technology that has been implemented by the Directorate of Rural Sanitation and Swaaha. We langar walas were thrilled to see him at the camp. It is a great privilege for us that he came among us and had lunch with us at the langar, a female said at the langar. All the team members are very happy when the captain of the team comes for encouragement. It gives us new energy. This time when he came, everyone gave great blessings, we all were very happy and thanked him.
