LG Manoj Sinha Felicitates Kashmir Marathon Winners, Highlights Unity and Youth Power

 

 

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha felicitated the winners of the Jammu & Kashmir Police’s Kashmir Marathon – Run for Unity in Srinagar, celebrating the enthusiasm, energy and participation of thousands of runners and participants. Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor said the marathon represented more than a sporting event. He described every step taken by the participants as a symbol of determination, unity and collective resolve. He said the runners had come together for a peaceful, united and progressive Jammu Kashmir and reflected the strength of India’s diversity. The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the winners, participants and Jammu & Kashmir Police for making the event memorable. He highlighted the growing participation in the marathon, with more than 6,000 participants taking part this year. He also spoke about the 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir campaign, noting the participation of people across all 20 districts and the efforts of the Jammu & Kashmir Police and administration. Calling upon young people to contribute to peace, harmony and nation-building, Sinha said youth energy should be connected with the vision of a developed India. He urged participants to strengthen brotherhood and work collectively for the progress of Jammu Kashmir and the country. The event concluded with a message of unity, determination and collective progress.
