The Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT Golden Card Scheme is providing important healthcare support to eligible families in Ramban. Beneficiaries receiving treatment at District Hospital Ramban shared how the Golden Card has helped them access healthcare without the burden of major medical expenses. Patients said they have benefited from the scheme during their treatment and expressed gratitude to the Central Government and Health Department for continuing the initiative. One beneficiary said the Golden Card had provided significant benefit during two years of treatment, while others highlighted that the scheme helped them receive treatment and medicines without financial difficulty. Beneficiaries also spoke about receiving essential facilities during their hospital stay, including beds, medicines and other required services. They said the availability of cashless healthcare has reduced their concerns about treatment expenses and allowed them to focus on recovery. Hospital officials informed that nearly 150 to 200 patients benefit from the initiative every month at District Hospital Ramban. The scheme is helping eligible families access timely medical care and reducing the financial barriers associated with treatment. The experiences shared by beneficiaries reflect the importance of accessible public healthcare programmes in supporting families across Ramban and ensuring that eligible patients can receive necessary treatment through the Golden Card.
