Udhampur Half Marathon unveils official anthem promoting fitness and drug-free living

Udhampur,July 22,2026- The official anthem of the first edition of the Udhampur Half Marathon, themed “Move More, Live More,” was released by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Minga Sherpa, in the presence of Race Director Kirti Mahajan under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

The anthem marks an important milestone in the lead-up to the inaugural marathon, highlighting the campaign’s message of promoting healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, and a drug-free society. Through music and community participation, the initiative seeks to inspire people, particularly the youth, to embrace sports and wellness while staying away from substance abuse.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa underscored the importance of sports and fitness as powerful tools for encouraging positive lifestyle choices and strengthening community well-being. He appreciated the efforts of the organisers in aligning the marathon with the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

Race Director Kirti Mahajan said the anthem reflects the spirit of the event and aims to motivate participants and citizens alike to adopt the message of “Move More, Live More” by making fitness an integral part of daily life.

The Udhampur Half Marathon is expected to bring together runners, fitness enthusiasts, and citizens from different walks of life, reinforcing the values of health, unity, and social awareness while supporting the nationwide mission of building a drug-free India.
