DC Budgam organises Maha Yagya at Regenya Mata Asthapan temple after 32 years

The brothers and sisters of the Hindu community came from all over India to conduct prayers for Maha Yagya at Regenya Mata Asthapan temple for peace and harmony in the country, in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and in Budgam. The havan puja was being conducted after 32 years, said DC Budgam S F Hamid. The DC said we prayed for peace and prosperity to stay forever that has come after so many decades. Secondly, the religious ceremony will bring back spiritual-religious tourism. Chadoora is a historical town. And the whole community including Muslims joining in the celebrities revives the old Kashmiri culture of unity and brotherhood. The young generation associating with the community will take the culture forward, DC said. The Hindu community expressed their gratitude to the administration for making adequate arrangements for the havan puja and religious function. The Muslims recalled how they used to be together standing there for each other during sorrow and happiness, visitng each other’s homes. It was their wish that the Hindus came back to Kashmir.
