The transit accommodation act has been delayed but I think the intention has always been to take care of the migrants and that your work is completed on priority basis this we will continue to try, LG said. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who completed the accommodation work including all those officers involved, especially the engineers, and all colleagues in the administration. He requested everyone to complete the rest of the work within the time limit. People in Bandipora expressed their happiness that their Pandit brothers can now come and stay peacefully. DC Bandipore, Owais Ahmed Rana said, A total of 224 flats were inaugurated for transit accommodation of Kashmiri Pandit migrant employees. There are 14 blocks and every block has 16 flats. The whole project will consist of 30 towers/ blocks and a total of 480 flats. These are 1BHK flats which are fully furnished and ready for stay after the allotment by the department. To facilitate the migrant community, a playfield, community centre , hospital, school, will also be provied which the locals too can also benefit from these facilities.
