Pahalgam, July 10,2026- In a remarkable display of faith, determination, and endurance, Sudarshan Biswas from Dhupguri in West Bengal has reached Pahalgam after cycling across India for more than 200 days as part of his spiritual pilgrimage.
Driven by devotion, Sudarshan embarked on a unique mission to visit all 51 Shakti Peeths and the 12 Jyotirlingas, covering thousands of kilometres solely on his bicycle. His extraordinary journey has now led him to the revered Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, where he is undertaking the sacred pilgrimage to the Holy Cave Shrine of Lord Shiva.
Speaking during his visit to Pahalgam, Sudarshan described the journey as a deeply spiritual experience, saying that faith has been his greatest source of strength throughout the expedition.
He also appreciated the security and administrative arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that he encountered no difficulties during his travel. According to him, the well-coordinated security measures and facilities provided to pilgrims ensured a safe, smooth, and comfortable experience.
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra continues to attract devotees from across India and abroad, with pilgrims undertaking the sacred journey through both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes. Comprehensive security deployments, healthcare services, accommodation, sanitation, and transport facilities have been put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
