Kashmir Medical College foundation stone laid by J&K LG Manoj Sinha

Kashmir Medical College project is an important step in the creation of private investment and resources in Kashmir, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. With the strong foundation of new institutions and new industries, Jammu & Kashmir is presenting a new picture with self-confidence towards the future. The 150-seat medical college sited in an area of 12 lakh square foot with a hospital in 1000sq ft is getting constructed. The project cost at Rs 525 crore will fetch employment for 2000 local people, LG said. Under the guidance of the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu & Kashmir is trying to make rapid progress, LG said. In April 2021 when the central government launched new central industrial scheme and made it operational, then until now, around Rs 70,000 crore worth investment proposals the Jammu and Kashmir industry department has received. Our vision is very clear, said the Lieutenant Governor. In the midst of global changes to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir the administration is trying hard working on many fronts. And every effort to revive is being made equally in business and investment opportunities.
