LG Manoj Sinha arrives in Ganderbal to lead Drug-Free J&KPadyatra

Ganderbal, June 5 ,2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha arrived in Ganderbal on Thursday to lead the much-anticipated ‘Drug-Free J&K Padyatra’, a major public awareness initiative aimed at strengthening the fight against drug abuse and promoting a healthier future for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

The padyatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, youth organizations, civil society members, government officials, and residents from various parts of the district. The event forms part of the ongoing efforts to mobilize communities against the growing menace of substance abuse and encourage collective action toward building a drug-free society.

Addressing participants, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized the importance of public participation in eliminating drug addiction and safeguarding the future of younger generations.
