Kashmir, May 20,2026-In a proud moment for Udhampur and Jammu & Kashmir, young female karate players from the district delivered an outstanding performance at an International Karate Championship by securing a total of nine medals and bringing laurels to the region.
The talented athletes showcased remarkable skill, determination and discipline during the championship, competing against participants from different regions and countries. Their impressive medal tally reflects the growing sporting talent emerging from Jammu & Kashmir and highlights the increasing participation of girls in martial arts and competitive sports.
