Anantnag, May 8,2026- The district administration in Anantnag has intensified preparations ahead of the proposed padyatra of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha scheduled for tomorrow.
Officials said elaborate arrangements are being put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the event, including security deployment, traffic management, sanitation measures, and public facilitation. Senior officers from various departments reviewed the preparedness and inspected key locations along the proposed route.
The padyatra is expected to witness participation from local residents, youth groups, officials, and civil society representatives. Authorities have directed concerned departments to maintain coordination and ensure all logistical arrangements are completed in time.
