Poonch Gurdwara holds special prayers for civilians killed in shelling

Poonch, May 7,2026-Special prayers were organized at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir to pay homage to civilians who lost their lives in Pakistani shelling during the India-Pakistan conflict last year.

Members of the Sikh community, local residents and religious leaders gathered at the gurdwara to remember the victims and pray for peace, harmony and the well-being of affected families. Devotees offered prayers and observed moments of silence in memory of those who died in the cross-border shelling incidents.

The gathering highlighted the pain and suffering faced by border residents during periods of conflict and emphasised the need for peace and communal unity in the region.

Participants also expressed solidarity with families affected by the shelling and prayed for lasting peace along the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
