Ganderbal, April 23,2026- In a strong show of community participation and awareness, a rally and street play were organized in Kangan area of Ganderbal district under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from government officials, police personnel, and a large number of school students, who came together to promote the message of a drug-free society. The rally passed through key areas of Kangan, with participants holding placards and raising slogans against substance abuse.
As part of the awareness drive, students performed a street play highlighting the devastating impact of drugs on individuals, families, and society. The performance effectively conveyed the importance of early prevention, community vigilance, and support for those struggling with addiction.
Officials present at the event emphasized the need for collective responsibility in tackling the growing menace of drug abuse. They urged youth to stay away from harmful substances and become ambassadors of change in their communities.
