Kupwara, April 16,2026- A massive anti-drug padyatra was held today in Kupwara under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, reinforcing the region’s commitment to building a drug-free society.
The rally was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Shrikant Suse and witnessed enthusiastic participation from government officials, police personnel, Central Reserve Police Force, students, and local residents.
Over 1,000 participants joined the padyatra, sending a strong message against substance abuse. The event concluded with a collective pledge, where attendees vowed to work towards a drug-free India and spread awareness within their communities.
The initiative highlights the growing focus on public participation and awareness campaigns in combating drug abuse, especially among the youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
