LG Manoj Sinha sacks two Government employees over terror links

Kashmir, April 8,2026- Manoj Sinha has ordered the termination of two government employees for their alleged involvement in terror-related activities, officials said.

The action was taken under provisions that allow the administration to dismiss employees without inquiry in cases linked to national security. According to sources, the individuals were found to have connections with militant networks, posing a threat to public safety and the integrity of government institutions.

Officials stated that the decision is part of the administration’s continued crackdown on terror infrastructure and support systems in Jammu and Kashmir. Over the past few years, several employees have faced similar action following investigations by security agencies.

The Lieutenant Governor has reiterated the government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, emphasizing that any individual found aiding or abetting militant activities will face strict consequences.

The move is seen as a strong message aimed at dismantling terror ecosystems and ensuring accountability within the system, while reinforcing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
