Srinagar, April 7, 2026-In a moment of pride for the region’s scientific community, a scientist from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has been honoured with the prestigious Norman Borlaug Award for outstanding contributions to agricultural research and innovation.
The award, named after Nobel Laureate Norman Borlaug—widely regarded as the father of the Green Revolution—recognises exceptional work by young scientists in the fields of agriculture, food security, and sustainable farming practices.
