Katra, March 27,2026-A massive surge of devotes was witnessed at the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, coinciding with the ongoing Chaitra Navratri.
Thousands of devotees thronged the shrine, resulting in heavy footfall along the Katra–Bhawan route, as pilgrims undertook the sacred yatra with deep religious fervour and devotion.
Authorities, including the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, have put in place elaborate security arrangements and efficient crowd management systems to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience. Deployment of additional personnel, surveillance measures, and medical facilities have been strengthened to handle the rush.
Despite the large turnout, the yatra continues in an orderly manner, with devotees expressing spiritual enthusiasm and devotion during the festive period.
